Job Description and Duties
The incumbent will assist with work related to history, risk evaluations, priority standing and maintenance management of all Field Division Assets. The Field Division Asset Engineer interfaces with the Headquarters Asset Engineers located in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Division of Engineering (DOE) and with staff from both the Asset Management and Maintenance Management office as well as with Field Division Planner Schedulers and Plant and Civil Maintenance staff. Participates in and performs analyses related to Field Division assets. This may include reliability studies, failure mode analysis, performance measure analysis, budgeting, project identification, planning annual activities, and reporting out to DWR Management. Assists the Asset Management (AM) Office in developing a condition assessment approach and performance metrics for asset management plans in close coordination with the AM Asset Planning Lead.
