Software Trainer

Software Trainer – Pre-Recorded Courses (Remote, Contract)

Remote | Contract
$400 per completed 60–90 minute recorded course
Screen + voice only (no on-camera video required)
No certifications required — teaching ability matters more than credentials

We’re building a global library of free, practical software training — and we’re looking for experts who can teach clearly and engagingly using screen share and voice (no camera required).

Your training will be viewed by thousands of learners worldwide and can be used as part of your professional teaching portfolio.

About the Role

This role is for subject-matter experts who enjoy teaching and want to create high-quality, pre-recorded software training using voice narration and screen sharing only.

Time Commitment: Project-based (per course or course series)

Recorded courses are paid upon acceptance and delivery of agreed materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Record a 60–90 minute screen-recorded course teaching a specific software application you’re an expert in
  • Teach real-world workflows and practical use cases
  • Narrate clearly and confidently while sharing your screen (no camera video required)
  • Create or update supporting materials (slides, datasets, practice files, quick-reference guides)
  • Follow provided outlines and guidance (we support you — you’re not starting from scratch)

This Role Is a Great Fit If You:

  • Enjoy teaching beginners and career switchers
  • Can explain complex software simply and clearly
  • Are comfortable teaching via voice and screen share
  • Prefer not to be on camera but still want to create impactful training

This role is not a fit if you:

  • Prefer purely academic or theory-heavy teaching
  • Dislike narrating or explaining while demonstrating software
  • Are uncomfortable recording instructional content

What You’ll Need

  • Proven teaching experience (corporate training, workshops, bootcamps, webinars, classroom teaching, tutoring, etc.)
  • English fluency
  • Ability to record clear screen demos with high-quality audio
  • Your own recording setup and stable internet connection

How to Apply

Send a 5-minute demo (no longer) to learnskillsdaily@gmail.com.

Your demo should:

  • Teach one concrete concept
  • Include screen sharing or a software demo
  • Use voice narration (no camera required)
  • Show you actively teaching (not a sales pitch)

You can search Learn Skills Daily on YouTube to see examples of past recorded training; fresh ideas are welcome.
