Why Facilitating is Awesome!
We think this job/team is one of the best on campus! Don't take our word for it though. Here's what some of our previous facilitators had to say:
- "I've had more life-changing opportunities than I ever could have expected through this job"
- "[This job] is the best kept secret on campus!"
- "I've made so many connections with students and especially faculty over these years through this job. Professors that I have facilitated for have actually helped me find jobs, open doors at the university, and even written letters of recommendation for me as I have applied to the graduate program."

- Applicants must be a student at Utah State University and have an active A-number.
- Applicants should have a basic understanding of technical problem solving and can accurately record steps taken to fix the issue.

Required Documentation for Application: All Documentation must be submitted in PDF or DOCX format.
- Current Resume
- Cover Letter
- Copy of Spring 2026 class schedule/work availability in a graphical format (i.e., not just a schedule written out in text).
- This will be used to help schedule a new hire's first semester hours, and helps full time staff know when applicants can and cannot work the position.
Interviews:
Interviews will be held via Zoom. The applicants who are selected for interviews will be emailed instructions on how to schedule an interview.
Work Schedule:
We work around your schedule! And after your first semester, you pick your schedule! In the interest of transparency, new facilitators are not guaranteed a set schedule or number of hours during their first semester facilitating, and may act primarily as substitutes for other facilitators. There are plenty of opportunities to substitute hours throughout the semester. After the first semester, facilitators have the opportunity to select their own set schedule.
