Administrative HR Coordinator
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Administrative & Human Resources Support Coordinator to join our ICF/DD facility. This role combines administrative, operational, and HR support with occasional direct care responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist facility leadership with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Manage employee scheduling and daily staffing assignments
- Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy
- Support resident needs, including coordinating purchases and managing funds
- Track maintenance needs and coordinate requests
- Process invoices and administrative paperwork
- Order and maintain office and facility supplies
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
- Assist with staff coaching and compliance documentation
- Provide backup coverage to ensure continuity of care
Human Resources Support (Under the direction of the HR Director)
- Support recruiting, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates
- Complete and process new hire paperwork and conduct orientations
- Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with regulations
- Track employee training, certifications, and required renewals
- Assist with HR documentation, compliance tracking, and general administrative support
Training & Compliance
- Train new employees on required internal systems
- Track and coordinate fire drills, disaster drills, and emergency preparedness activities
- Assist leadership with compliance-related audits, inspections, and documentation
Qualifications
- Experience in human services, healthcare administration, or HR support preferred
- DSP certification required or willingness to obtain
- Med Tech certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with state and federal regulations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
