Associate Veterinarian Position:

Western Veterinary Clinic is located in Beautiful Western North Dakota

We are a busy mixed animal practice looking for two more full time doctors to add to our team! We currently have 4 full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian. Our practice is well established within to the community, and we offer excellent mentorship if needed and have very high doctor retention. Williston has seen a huge increase in population over the last 15 years which has lead us to become the largest clinic in our region therefore we see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases that keep veterinary medicine interesting and exciting.  When we hire a new doctor, we allow them to decide workload capability and work within their comfort level to allow them to develop their skills. We have 4 full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian that are available for consultation throughout the work-day and on emergency, and we pride ourselves on having open communication and discussion on cases. While there is no formal mentorship program, we have very high retention rates of new graduates due to the fact that all of our doctors work together on cases when time and need arises. Of our current veterinarians, 4 were new graduate hires that are still employed with our practice.

Our practice is mixed animal (approximately 80 % companion animal and equine and 20% beef cattle/production animal) and serves a large part of western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Remodeled and updated in 2018, the clinic is well equipped with digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab (Abaxis, Progesterone, Zomedica), K-Laser and much more for small animal. We are primarily a haul-in facility for large animal emergency work with an indoor chute and stocks. In addition we have outdoor hydraulic chute and portable hydraulic chute for herd work.
