Sales Associate Intern

We have created an internship program to give students or recent graduates an opportunity to gain some experience with a seasoned Sales team. The Sales team at Powerlink Technologies is actively seeking new business and new clients. The vertical markets are endless to apply our process and proven track record of success.

 

As a Sales Associate within our organization, you will help expand our service offerings and client base. You will work closely with the Sales team calling on new targets.


General Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Intern to support our sales and business development efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in lead generation, client outreach, market research, and CRM management.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential leads

Assist with outbound outreach (80% calls, 10% LinkedIn, 10% email)

Update and manage CRM records

Support sales presentations and proposals

Participate in sales meetings and track pipeline activity

 

Requirements:

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Strong communication and organizational skills

Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (CRM experience a plus)

Participate in sales meetings and track pipeline activity

Understanding of technology deployment services (e.g., hardware rollouts, network setup, POS systems, cabling, etc.) a plus

Knowledge of Network Infrastructure, Wireless, Security and Telecommunication products, services and industry a plus

Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.

Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
