FOCUS Training is looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join their Marketing Team. As a leadership development company, FOCUS Training delivers high-energy, in-person college readiness and leadership programs to students and career professionals nationwide. FOCUS delivers exceptional leadership development experiences using experiential learning techniques, dynamic trainers, and deep content to deliver exceptional leadership development experiences.
The Multimedia Specialist will play a key role in capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality photography and videography to support marketing, social media, and promotional efforts. Specialists will travel with experienced trainers to capture educational programs for middle and high school students and local professional market programs. Specialists can expect to do a combination of virtual and in-person work.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience with DSLR cameras, video equipment, and editing software
- Access to photography and videography equipment (DSLR camera, editing software, etc.)
- Willing to travel for on-location shoots and work non-traditional hours
- Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds) and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be available to travel between the end of May through the end of July 2026 (including some weekends) as assigned
- Must have access to a computer with a working webcam and reliable internet access
If you are currently a college student, you must also have:
- Junior status or higher from a regionally accredited college or university
- 2.8 GPA or higher
Job Overview

- Proactively identify content opportunities to enhance program marketing and visibility
- Meet visual content deadlines for social media and website usage
- Manage media equipment and ensure its safety, upkeep, and proper use
- Travel domestically for media coverage of programs if/when needed
- Interact with clients and students in a professional manner

- Paid position (Specialists will be paid a total of $1,500 for the Freelance period (May 18-July 31), with an opportunity to earn up to $500 of a completion bonus at the end of this period.
