HUMAN RESOURCE SUMMER INTERN

 

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Summer Intern to support our HR team with daily operations and special projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee engagement and culture, and HR administration. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain real-world exposure to the field of Human Resources in a boutique professional environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and screening resumes.

● Support onboarding activities for new hires and terminations process when applicable.

● Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

● Help organize employee engagement initiatives, staff events and recognition programs, and training sessions.

● Assist with HR reporting, compliance documentation, and administrative tasks.

● Participate in special HR projects as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business 

Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

● Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
