Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in Ventura, CA. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen. This position ensures that all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas meet health and safety standards while supporting the culinary team during service.

Key Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations and storage areas

Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed

Remove trash and recycling; maintain clean dumpster and back-of-house areas

Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Support kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations

Qualifications

Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Must comply with local food handling and safety requirements
