Title: Career Success Marketing Assistant - Work Study
Pay Rate: $12/hr
Hours: up to 20/week
The Career Success Marketing Assistant plays a pivotal role in the mission and work of the office by supporting staff with administrative and planning tasks, providing coverage at signature events, and helping students access and utilize our services.
Duties and responsibilities associated with the position and how they relate to the purpose or role:
- Manage Career Success social media accounts
- Assist staff with development of marketing plans and material
- Create email blasts, flyers, and other promotional materials for department events
- Provide input regarding the best ways to reach target audiences
- Assist with other Career Success projects as appropriate

Communication: create and share marketing materials using multiple media designed to increase brand awareness and recognition.
Teamwork: work with professional staff and student workers to promote events and achieve departmental goals.
Leadership: provide input and practice using guided creative freedom to meet briefs.
Specific qualifications for the various levels or rates of pay associated:
- Major in marketing, communications, art & design, or related field
- Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with social media platform management technology
- Experience with Canva and Adobe products
- Rising Junior or Seniors Preferred; Freshmen and Sophomores open to apply
