Licensed Therapist (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT) — Outpatient Telehealth

Cater Psychiatry is seeking a motivated, compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our growing physician-led outpatient practice providing telepsychiatry services to adults across Illinois. This is a flexible, fully remote 1099 position ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, supportive collaboration with psychiatric providers, and the opportunity to grow with an expanding organization.

Founded by Dr. Sammy Khader, MD, Medical Director of a hospital Behavioral Health Unit, Cater Psychiatry is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care through an innovative telehealth model.

🧑‍⚕️ Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients via telehealth
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, trauma-informed care, etc.)
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers for coordinated care
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards

✅ Qualifications

Required:

• Active Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Experience providing therapy to adults
• Comfortable delivering care via telehealth
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or substance use
• Availability for evening or weekend hours
• Interest in long-term growth within a developing practice
