Learning Specialist (Tutor) – Part-Time

Bridge Learning Center provides personalized tutoring, enrichment classes, and academic consulting for students in grades K–12 throughout Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and Rialto. We specialize in small-group and individualized instruction designed to meet each student’s unique learning needs.

Role Description

Bridge Learning Center is seeking a part-time, on-site Learning Specialist (Tutor) to provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons

Supporting students with homework, foundational skill development, and acceleration

Monitoring and tracking student progress

Communicating professionally with parents

Collaborating with staff to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction

Schedule & Availability

We are currently hiring candidates available during one or more of the following shifts:

Morning Shift

🕘 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM

📅 Tuesday – Thursday

Afternoon/Evening Shift

🕒 2:45 PM – 7:00 PM

📅 Monday – Thursday

Saturday Shift

🕘 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Availability in at least one shift block is required.

Candidates available for multiple shift blocks will receive priority consideration.

Qualifications

Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience (preferred)

Strong knowledge of K–12 ELA and Math

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for student growth

Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff

Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in an education-related field (preferred)

Compensation

$18–$24 per hour, depending on experience and instructional strength

Local candidates preferred
