If you’re passionate about mental health and helping individuals and families live full lives, join us as a Behavioral Health Therapist. In this role you will, support our patient transitions from inpatient care by coordinating recommended aftercare services based on clinical assessments provided by primary therapists.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate aftercare services based on clinician-recommended levels of care (LOC); does not determine clinical LOC.
  • Collaborate with referral sources to ensure timely, appropriate aftercare placements.
  • Arrange housing and residential referrals, including HWH and RH as indicated.
  • Communicate and coordinate with BHT and Business Development teams regarding aftercare needs.
  • Facilitate a monthly community education session on the benefits of engaging in recommended aftercare (PHP, IOP, OP, supportive housing).
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to aftercare coordination.

    Position:

    Behavioral Health Therapist

    Shift:

    Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with 1 weekend every 4 weeks of on call requirements.

    Experience:

    1. Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse treatment standards.

    2. Emergency psychiatric and/or acute psychiatric experience preferred.

    Education:

    1. Bachelor's degree required.

    2. Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field preferred.

    Licensures/Certifications:

    Will help obtain certification or licensure as an addictions counselor or licensed mental health professional if not already obtained.
