Intern, Accounting

Job Description
The Accounting Intern is responsible for basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities
* Other duties and projects, as assigned.
* Assist with quarter-end closing and reporting.
* Prepare various monthly journal entries.
* Complete various account reconciliations (clearing, prepaid, accrued liabilities, etc.).
* Compile intercompany account documentation and reconciliation between subsidiaries.
* Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statements for subsidiaries.

Requirements

* Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, required
* Completion of Intermediate Accounting I and at least one other junior level class, preferred

* No prior experience necessary

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required

Other Details

* This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

* This is a hourly position paid weekly.
