Position: Certified Teacher Tutor (K-5 ELA & Reading)

Location: Ruskin, FL
Schedule: Mondays (required), additional opportunities available in the fall (Mon-Thursday mornings)

The Role:
We are seeking a certified teacher to join our team as a tutor for elementary students in grades K-5, focusing on English Language Arts (ELA) and reading. This role is ideal for an educator who is enthusiastic about working one-on-one or in small groups to build confidence and literacy skills in young learners. Math skills are a plus and welcome!

The successful candidate will be punctual, nurturing, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally alongside us.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide engaging and personalized tutoring in ELA and reading to K-5 students on Mondays.  
- Build strong relationships with students to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.  
- Utilize student-centered teaching strategies aligned with Ayni Learning’s values.  
- Collaborate with our team to continuously improve instructional approaches and student support.  
- Maintain a positive and open mindset, embracing growth opportunities and innovative teaching methods.

Additional Opportunities (Fall):
- Teaching learning pods Monday-Thursday mornings.

Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification (state or national) required.  
- Experience working with elementary students, particularly in literacy.  
- Comfort working with diverse learners and adapting to individual needs.  
- Willingness to pass a background check.  
- Passion for education, personal growth, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
