We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.

Work Schedule: 

  • Flexible full- or part-time schedules available to accommodate ministry needs.
  • Occasional evening and weekend commitments required for specific ministry events.
  • Attendance at annual conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat is expected.


 

Pay Structure:

  • Raleigh Campus Ministers develop a ministry partner team to provide prayer and financial support for salary, benefits, and ministry expenses.
  • Comprehensive training is provided to build and sustain this team.
  • Salary typically ranges from $25,709 to $80,000 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:

The Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, known as The Research Triangle, is the home of three influential universities: North Carolina State University, Duke University, and University of North Carolina. This is a very strategic location for ministry to the more than 13,000 international students at these universities. They are all respected universities, with Duke ranking number 9 of top universities in the United States. This position is part of the Raleigh ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

As a Raleigh Campus Minister, you will:

  • Engage in IFI events and Bible discussion groups, fostering genuine friendships while sharing about Jesus with international students.
  • Recruit and mentor American and international volunteers to serve on a campus ministry team.
  • Participate in regular mentorship with supervisors, seeking guidance and setting ministry goals.
  • Study the cultural worldviews of the international students you serve to better understand their needs.


 

Qualifications:

  • Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies.
  • Passionate about communicating the message of the Bible and serving international students
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and proficiency with technology essential to ministry.


 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program desired.
