MDK is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Intern who is looking to gain first-hand experience working within one of our legal pods. In this role, you will learn internal and external systems, assist with preparing a variety of standard legal documents, ensure that all communications between clients, courts, and the legal team are handled efficiently, and more.

Your Role in Action
- Prepare and process legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize case management system to ensure legal cases are progressing in a timely manner.
- Update client communication portals daily.
- Process mail received by the firm.
- Communicate with courts and clients to obtain information needed in a case.
- Actively work to become familiar with the entire legal process for all work performed by the team.
- Prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Other administrative support as needed.

Your Background & Skills
- Requires a high school diploma and currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
- One or more years of general work experience preferred.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Schedule & Benefits as an Intern
This position is based in our Columbus, OH office and requires approximately 20 hours of work per week during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. We are looking for an Intern who is eager to grow with us over an extended period. While we understand that academic schedules may change, this opportunity is best suited for candidates who can commit beyond a short-term or semester-only role.
