 What is my day to day like?   

As an intern with our Sales team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic group focused on driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding our market reach. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting sales initiatives, analyzing customer needs, and identifying new business opportunities within the food service industry. Your typical day-to-day will include but is not limited to: 

  • Major Project – Supermarket & Processors Micro and Macro Project. It will require research, quantitative analysis and presentation of data.
  • Create and enhance tools for the Supermarket & Processors (S&P) team in relation to customer conversions.
  • Prepare content for presentations for S&P team with cross-functional department meetings and external customer presentations.
  • Assist S&P sales team in finding internal & external data and industry/channel research to enhance customer presentations, while also supporting joint business plans that are in place with key customers.
  • Assist in sales support functions for reporting, analysis, and support with customer coordination.
  • Attend meetings and complete administrative tasks as needed. 

 

What makes a person successful in this position 

  • Strong internet research skills
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Business Intelligence, Economics, Data Analytics/Statistics, or Sales
  • Ability to communicate with industry research organizations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; strong Excel knowledge

 

What will my schedule be like?

During the course of the Summer Internship Program, you will work M-F up to 40 hours a week. A typical day will be 8:30 am-5:00 pm with a break for lunch. Remote work opportunities are available 2 days a week with prior manager approval.
