Intern - Network Operations/Station Operations (Summer 2026)

From operational leadership and planning to safety procedures, our Human Factors team provides the innovative approaches, tools, training, and guidance needed for our employees to be the best in their area of responsibility, and aid in our mission to become the best airline in the history of aviation. Our Station Operations Center (SOC) serves as a quarterback of our operation to ensure that the operational movement of our flights is planned, communicated and performed safely and efficiently. The SOC collaborates and communicates across workgroups to drive performance at the station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze operational executive performance metrics
- Conduct data analytics to support business decision-making
- Develop and implement Flight Operations Strategy, including diversion management
- Support cross-functional projects
This internship designed solely to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role will likely not convert to a full-time position at United at the conclusion of the internship.
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Palantir
- Project management experience

Aviation operations experience
