Telecommunications Assistant
Position: Telecommunications Assistant
Installs, maintains, and repairs hardware, software, and network infrastructure at client or remote sites. They diagnose technical issues on-site, configure systems, manage IT inventory, and provide technical support to users. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration: Set up and configure computers, peripherals, software, and network devices.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, including network and cable faults.
- On-site Support: Travel to various locations to provide direct technical support to users.
- Maintenance & Updates: Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and imaging to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service records, inventory logs, and technical reports.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all technology adheres to company safety regulations and IT policies.
***Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days, 9am-7pm (off Friday/Saturday/Sunday)***
