Assignment Length: 01 year + (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Contract/ Contingent
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday (Flexible start at 6:00 AM)
Overtime: Possible based on business needs
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support experimental manufacturing operations. This role involves creating routings, managing inventory, coordinating material transfers, and troubleshooting part and program issues to ensure smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and edit manufacturing routings for experimental builds.
Generate programs for fabrication operations.
Review manufactured part prints
Monitor production inventory and forecast future needs.
Transfer stock between departments and maintain accurate records.
Communicate with internal teams regarding material transfers.
Coordinate with Supply Management on purchased parts and stock availability.
Prepare and update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools.
Occasionally design and model simple parts for shop use.
Troubleshoot part requests from engineers.
Diagnose and resolve issues with laser programs and manufacturing routings.

Required:
Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/prints.
Experience with CREO and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with SAP and Power BI.
Knowledge of inventory management practices.
High level of computer literacy and comfort with technology.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of sheet metal and other fabrication processes.
