POSITION: Technology Coach
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field preferred.
• Valid teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Experience providing professional development or coaching educators preferred.
REPORTS TO: Director of STEAM/STEM
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coach teachers on incorporating technology into lesson planning, instruction, and assessment.
• Model high-impact digital learning strategies in classrooms, small groups, and co-teaching sessions.
• Provide individualized support for teachers at varying levels of tech proficiency.
• Promote the use of district-approved learning platforms, digital tools, and devices to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate professional learning sessions on instructional technology, digital citizenship, and best practices.
• Create job-embedded training opportunities such as PLC sessions, workshops, office hours, and tech tutorials.
• Develop instructional guides, user-friendly resources, and video demonstrations for staff and families.
• Serve as a thought partner to school and district leadership regarding tech integration strategy.
• Support implementation of digital learning initiatives, curriculum rollouts, and new ed-tech tools.
• Collaborate with instructional leaders and curriculum teams to ensure technology supports academic goals.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month contracted position, salary, hours and work year to be determined by the Board in consultation with the Lead Person.
EVALUATION: Annually according to state statute and rule and Board Policy.
SALARY GRADE/RANGE: $55,000-$70,000
STATUS: Non Exempt
BENEFITS: Benefits are available to full time employees per Board policy.
