Carnegie Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for a new team member whose answer to these questions is YES. The right candidate need not have experience in oral surgery or dentistry in general (though it is preferred) and must understand that one of the key ingredients to succeed in healthcare is the ability to work in a service based industry.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-      Greet patients in person and on the phone.

-      Accurate data collection and entry in our practice management software.

-      Patient scheduling and management of the clinical schedule.

-      Prepare and present financial estimates and collection of payments.

  • Insurance benefit verification
  • Insurance claims processing and follow-up

 

Qualifications and Required Skills for this role:

-      Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent

-      Written and spoken English proficiency.

-      Clerical and office task proficiency with superior organizational skills.

-      Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks.

-      Friendly personality and ability to maintain a positive attitude in high pressured situations.

-      Proficient in Microsoft Office, Web Based applications and generally computer literacy.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

-      No experience necessary.

-      Dentistry (oral surgery specific) preferred.
