Mental Health Worker

In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health challenges in a home-like setting. You’ll build meaningful relationships, help residents with daily living skills, and contribute to a supportive and empowering environment. Located in a beautifully renovated barn in Warminster, the BARN is a licensed mental health residential program where residents choose to live and actively pursue their recovery and rehabilitation goals.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma required
    • Educational background in psychology, social work, or related fields preferred
  • Able to provide services year round, including school breaks
  • Experience in mental health, healthcare or caregiving (personal or professional) strongly preferred 
  • Team player mentality
  • Ability to adapt and stay calm in unpredictable situations
  • Motivated by purpose and desire to work in a mission driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (with or without accommodation)

Your Role

  • Provide direct support to residents in their daily routines, including hygiene, meals, and medication management 
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Engage residents in recreational and therapeutic activities
  • Document resident interactions and progress using electronic health records
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed practices
