Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for grade/ subject matter and endorsement for Teacher of Students with Disabilities. 


 

Goals:

Provides specialized learning experiences and supervision of students with disabilities in a supportive and positive classroom environment. Serves as the primary advocate for students with disabilities in developing in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed the New Jersey instructional standards as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for the student, using approved curricula and working collaboratively with school staff, the Child Study Team, parents, and internal/ external resources.
