Social Media Marketing Intern

The Point Restaurant Group and Blind Tiger Mobile Bar are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team! This is a direct internship with Erica, the owner of all the companies, offering hands-on mentorship and the chance to learn the ins and outs of running multiple hospitality brands.

This is not a coffee-run internship—you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic hospitality group and leave with skills you can use for your future career or business. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a full-time position.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day to day social media execution across all platforms
  • Post daily across reels, feed posts, and stories
  • Maintain consistent cadence without gaps
  • Actively grow followers, reach, and engagement
  • Identify high performing content and double down quickly

Content Creation and Posting

  • Create, edit, and publish short form video content
  • Write strong hooks, captions, and calls to action
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Organize content calendars and content libraries

Community Engagement

  • Manage daily engagement including comments and direct messages
  • Actively engage with relevant accounts to increase visibility and reach
  • Build and nurture online communities aligned with each brand

What You’ll Learn

  • Hands-on experience in restaurant, catering, and hospitality marketing
  • Entrepreneurship and business ownership insights
  • Tools like CapCut, Monday.com, Canva, and email marketing platforms
  • How to build, manage, and execute events from the ground up
  • Networking and B2B relationship building

Who You Are

  • Interested in learning and growing in marketing, admin, or entrepreneurship
  • Could be a student, recent grad, stay-at-home parent, or anyone looking for flexible part-time work
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Creative with strong writing and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Excited to learn, contribute, and grow

Compensation & Perks

  • $15–$17/hr depending on experience
  • Meals included when working on-site
  • Gas reimbursement for event-related travel (not daily commute)
  • Parking reimbursement when required for events/meetings
  • Flexible hybrid schedule – remote + in-person work from our Baltimore & Towson offices
  • Hands-on mentorship directly with the owner
  • Potential growth into a full-time role
