Position Overview
Extreme Adventures at Lewis County Park is seeking responsible and motivated individuals to serve as Ropes Course Facilitators for the 2026 season. This position involves supervising participants on a high ropes course, ensuring safety compliance, conducting harness fittings, and delivering a professional and positive guest experience.
All required ropes course certification and training will be provided and paid for by the employer. Applicants must successfully complete certification prior to independently operating the course.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct safety briefings and participant orientations
Properly fit and inspect harnesses and safety equipment
Monitor participants while on the ropes course
Enforce all safety policies and procedures
Perform daily course inspections and equipment checks
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for guests
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Comfortable working at heights
Able to stand for extended periods
Strong communication skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in safety-sensitive situations
Must successfully complete employer-provided ropes course certification
Schedule
April through November
Afternoons, evenings, and weekends required
Hours vary by season and weather conditions
