About The Job
MOCAP is undergoing a global sales transformation, focused on equipping our sales teams with enhanced capabilities to drive more proactive business development and strategic account management. This initiative integrates sales enablement, marketing analytics, and market research, all while leveraging AI-powered tools.
The Marketing & Sales Intelligence and Research Intern will play a key role in uncovering new market opportunities, evaluating digital marketing effectiveness, and developing insight tools that inform our global sales strategy. Our objective is to create a streamlined Industry Insight Program—a carefully curated suite of intelligence reports and targeted market lists, to help guide our global sales representatives toward high-potential clients and emerging markets.
What You’ll Do
- Explore Industries: Research different sectors (like manufacturing, consumer packaging, electronics, and more) to spot trends and opportunities.
- Find Leading Companies: Identify key players, new markets, and what’s driving innovation and sustainability.
- Leverage AI Tools: Use cutting-edge platforms (like ChatGPT, LinkedIn, and Crunchbase) to build market insights, make research faster, and create smart lists for our sales teams.
- Analyze Marketing Data: Review digital marketing performance to see what’s working online and suggest ways to improve results.
- Share Your Insights: Regularly report your discoveries to our global team and be a valued voice in shaping strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Rising Sophomore or Junior majoring in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking and ability to connect data with business strategy.
- Experience with AI research tools, Google Analytics, Excel, LinkedIn, and Crunchbase.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills; able to explain technical topics clearly.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manages time well.
- Curious and enjoys problem-solving across different teams and departments.
- Interest in manufacturing, marketing, and technology-driven sales.
- Maintains accuracy and confidentiality with sensitive data.
