Optometric Vision Therapist

Optometric Vision Therapist (Training Provided)

The Center for Vision Development is seeking a passionate full-time vision therapist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is not only eager to learn but truly loves connecting with people of all ages—kids, teens, and adults alike. The ideal candidate is someone who lights up around others, builds trust naturally, and finds genuine joy in supporting patients on their journey to success.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, a quick learner, and excited to take ownership of both your training and your patients’ progress. Our vision therapists are fully trained in-house and work closely with our doctors and therapy team, ensuring you’ll always have strong support and collaboration behind you.

We are a small, close-knit practice that values teamwork, growth, and meaningful impact. If you’re energized by helping others, committed to excellence, and ready to invest in a role where you can truly make a difference, we’d love to meet you.

About Us

Founded in 2004, we are the longest-established vision therapy practice in Austin. Our team is led by highly trained developmental optometrists who specialize in vision therapy and are deeply committed to patient-centered care. We proudly serve patients of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Our vision therapists come from a wide range of fields—including nursing, tutoring, nutrition, caregiving, exercise science, and medical administration. We value diverse perspectives and experiences, and we believe they strengthen the care we provide. What unites our team is simple: we truly love working with people.

We are a supportive, collaborative group that takes pride in our professionalism, the quality of our care, and the long-term relationships we build with our patients and their families. While we are highly organized and efficient, we never compromise on warmth or personal connection. Our “minimum standard” is often viewed as going above and beyond—and that’s the level of excellence we strive for every day.

Communication, growth, and shared success are core to our culture. We encourage team members to voice their ideas, ask questions, and collaborate. We are goal-oriented and offer incentives and rewards based on productivity and the achievement of both individual and team goals.

We are open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.
