Location: Rapid City, SD (in office)
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 DOE
We're seeking a passionate and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to own the full recruitment lifecycle. You'll be more than just a recruiter – you'll be a brand ambassador, crafting engaging job postings, working closely with hiring managers, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every candidate. Your expertise in managing complex processes and building strong relationships will be crucial as we continue to grow and secure exciting new opportunities.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to execute full-cycle recruitment for permanent positions across the organization.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Manage multiple concurrent requisitions while ensuring the timely progression of candidates.
- Utilize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and reporting of recruitment activity.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings and structured interviews to evaluate qualifications, competencies, and cultural alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience.
- Draft compelling job postings that accurately reflect role requirements.
- Maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles to proactively address future hiring needs.
- Track, analyze, and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, company policies, and hiring best practices.

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract high-quality talent aligned with organizational workforce planning objectives.
- Support onboarding logistics and serve as a primary point of contact for new hires during the pre-boarding process.
- Partner with HR Operations to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance through onboarding and new hire integration.
- Facilitate accurate offer letter preparation and support compensation and start date alignment with hiring managers and HR.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience with HR and payroll systems (e.g., JazzHR, iSolved, Costpoint).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience recruiting for construction or engineering roles is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute recruitment under tight deadlines.
