Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, warm, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting daily operations and assisting with corporate retreat coordination.
The ideal candidate thrives in a small business environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and values genuine hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes
Answer phone calls, emails, and booking inquiries promptly and professionally
Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest records
Provide information about rooms, amenities, local attractions, and dining
Address guest questions or concerns with professionalism and care
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
Operations Support
Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room readiness
Assist with breakfast service, light food prep, and kitchen clean-up
Assist with inventory tracking and supply coordination
Support light administrative duties and reporting
Monitor and respond to online reviews as directed
Corporate Retreat & Business Event Support
Assist with scheduling and logistics for small corporate groups
Help prepare meeting spaces (tables, seating, materials, signage)
Coordinate guest arrivals for group bookings
Support catering service and event flow
Ensure business guests receive a seamless, professional experience
Assist management with post-event wrap-up and feedback collection
(if intereseted/optional)
Kitchen/Baking Support
Baking/preparing baked goods throughout week for lobby table
Help in kitchen by cooking breakfast 1 day a week
Qualifications & Skills
Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Comfortable using computers, email, and reservation software
Detail-oriented with a high standard for service excellence
Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
