2026 Summer Intern Real Estate

Position Summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Intern to support the Global Real Estate team through administrative, data management, and analytical work. This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate real estate operations within a global biopharmaceutical organization while building skills in data management, reporting, and real estate processes.

 

Program Dates: Monday June 1, 2026 - Friday, August 7, 2026. 

Location: Primarily based on-site in Lawrenceville, NJ, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement depending on business needs. Occasional support at other New Jersey offices may be required.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and tracking tools for real estate assets and transactions.
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Organize, digitize, and retrieve physical and electronic documents in accordance with company standards and retention policies.
  • Maintain and update real estate records, lease data, and related documentation.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of work.
  • Perform light physical tasks, including organizing and moving files and documents.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university and continuing their education in the following semester (Fall 2026). Seniors graduating in Spring or Summer 2026 are not eligible to apply. 
  • Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, real estate/facilities, finance, data analytics, or a related field. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. 
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is within the range of $21/hr to $25/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change. Applications are currently being accepted and may be selected on a rolling basis.

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.
