Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems. Your expertise will help ensure product quality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our production facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and ensuring compliance with GD&T standards and ASME codes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed schematics, system layouts, and manufacturing drawings.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot mechanical issues in production equipment and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing operations by integrating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC machines into production workflows.
  • Lead project scheduling efforts to ensure timely completion of engineering projects while maintaining quality standards.
  • Design specialized HVAC machines for aircraft ground support.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, ASME codes & standards, and drafting practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools, schematics creation, and system design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment including CNC machines.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles applied within industrial environments; experience with FEA is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
