How You'll Help Us Connect the World
As a member of our FPGA Engineering team for the ICN product line, you will design and implement FPGAs used in ICN wireless systems. In this intern role, you will work closely with our engineers to design, implement, integrate, and test FPGA designs for LTE and 5GNR radio access points. Preference will be given to candidates based in Lynchburg, VA.
You Will Make an Impact By
- Developing RTL designs for radio access points.
- Developing Python based test automation software for radio access points.
- Documenting the RTL designs and test automation procedures.
- Testing the radio access points and documenting the test results.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or enrolled in Grad School at the time of the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Solid understanding of Python and MATLAB.
- Knowledge of RTL and Parsing algorithms.
You Will Excite Us If You
- Are an upcoming or current Senior.
- Possess knowledge of wireless systems, particularly LTE and 5GNR.
- Have exposure on Networking domain (basics on wired/wireless networking).
- Have knowledge of test equipment, scripting, and automated test procedures.
- Have the ability to create test cases based on requirements specifications.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
- Are able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
- Possess strategic and creative thinking, distinguished written and verbal communications skills
- Have strong initiative; are a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
