Investor Relations Intern
Overview
Star Mountain’s Investor Relations team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join as an intern, supporting the Firm’s overall marketing and communications efforts.
Job Responsibilities
- Creating and updating marketing materials: I.e. investor pitch decks, emails, quarterly reports, website, thought leadership, social media and press releases.
- Supporting new investor due diligence processes: Organizing data rooms, responding to information requests and compiling fund performance and portfolio materials.
- Assisting with current client management: Supporting ongoing reporting and communication needs.
- Conducting market research and competitive analyses: Supporting strategic positioning and capital formation efforts.
Qualifications
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing, communications or investor relations is a plus.
- Interest in Finance is a plus.
- High academic standing.
- Highly skilled with MS PowerPoint and Excel for presentation purposes as well as other relevant software.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing, research and interpersonal communication skills.
Time Commitment
- Seeking Interns that can work on a part-time basis (~15-20 hours a week) during the school year with the opportunity to go full-time during summer.
Location: Tampa, Florida.
