Clinical Program Director
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the daily clinical and administrative operations of the facility.
Responsible for all Quality Control measures and issues.
Responsible for oversight of clinical programming of the Halfway House.
Responsible for supervision of all clerical, administrative staff at the Turning
Point.
Responsible for insuring the safety of all clients and staff while on Turning Point
premises.
Responsible for upkeep of facility Policy and Procedure Manual.
Responsible for overseeing of all disciplinary action.
Responsible for Outreach and Marketing.
Responsible for holding and facilitating facility Staff Meetings.
Responsible for writing and submission of all necessary reports.
Responsible for conducting in-house training and staff development training as
needed.
Responsible for other duties and responsibilities as directed by need.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Addictions Studies and/or Social Work. Or a Doctoral degree in a elated field of study.
A working knowledge of the DSM-IV and the ability to accurately diagnosis most psychiatric disorders.
Demonstrated expertise in Managed Care and its associated nuances as they are related to operating a successful drug and alcohol facility.
Demonstrate knowledge of the entire Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs licensing regulations as well as a thorough understanding of their operational implications.
A specific Theoretical Orientation in counseling theory (i.e., Object Relations, Psychoanalytic, etc.)
A comprehensive understanding of the treatment process and all of its elements (i.e., screening, intake treatment planning, counseling, case management, referral, documentation, etc.)
Excellent Diagnostic and Evaluations skills.
