Spring Internship
Location: Remote
Time Frame: Start date around March 15th with flexibility
State legislatures are ground zero in the fight for democracy. Since 2017, Forward Majority has been at the frontline of the fight to accelerate Democratic power in state legislatures. To date, we’ve mobilized over $120M to advance our mission.
As we continue to build and scale our work in the years ahead, interns are an essential addition to our team.
Ideally this candidate will have:
- Strong writing skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work remotely with access to internet and laptop
- Knowledge of Google apps (sheets, docs, presentations)
- Desire to learn more about campaigns, voter registration and state legislative elections
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Researching candidates
- Assisting with collecting information about races across country
- Data collection
- Helping with presentations
- Proofing documents

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, however, interns will be given a $750 / month stipend.
Interns may utilize this internship for college credit. The internship will include a series of brown bag lunches with key staff members and progressive consultants. Interns will learn about political fundraising, digital programs, designing paid media, the use of key progressive technology, and legislative research, among other skills needed for a career in campaign politics.
