HVAC Engineer Customer Sales

 

Mechanical Concepts leads the commercial and industrial HVAC market in North Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas through innovative technologies and system application and superior customer service. This is a large opportunity for the chosen candidate who will work closely with the Mechanical Concepts partners and peer sales people in positioning our products and services to engineers and customers. Required Skills and Experience:

  • Good communications skills are a must. This position requires constant verbal and written communication with customers, suppliers, and other team members in the company.
  • Relationship management skills. 
  • Sales and/or technical experience within the HVAC field.
  • Experience with heating and air conditioning systems.

  • Are adept at outlining technical features
  • Enjoy presenting to small or large groups of primarily technical people
  • Know how to sell value (it’s not the cheapest solution)
  • Understand the importance of face to face meetings with clients and prospects with a focus to being kept up to date on current and future projects and needs
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Well organized and disciplined work habits
  • Your own car is required

Benefits:

  • Commissioned position after initial training period with defined wage depending upon experience
  • ½ Health insurance paid (employee or family)
  • Health insurance plan (eligibility after 90 day probationary period)
  • Long term disability coverage starting 90 days after employment - paid 100% by the company – covers 60% of salary
  • $20,000 term life insurance - coverage starting 90 days after employment - paid 100% by company
  • Can contribute to the 401K plan 1 year after employment begins; matching up to 4% of salary depending on your contribution %
  • 401K plan includes an optional profit-sharing contribution that has historically been funded since the plan started. A contribution is made for you even if you don’t contribute to the 401k plan. Typically, 3% of salary is contributed each March.
