Kendall County is seeking an organized and professional Deputy Clerk to join its Circuit Clerk team! We are looking for someone with great communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
Kendall County Circuit Clerk’s Office has a full-time opening for the position of Deputy Clerk. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma, possess strong organizational, multitasking, and oral communication skills. They also should have a general working knowledge of computers and be familiar with working in a professional environment. Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday during normal business hours in the Circuit Clerk’s Office and on occasion, additional hours, as needed for the position. Duties will include a variety of routine office tasks following prescribed procedures relating to the receipt, review, processing, and maintenance of official records for the Kendall County Circuit Court system.

The Deputy Clerk position is part of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Union (ASFME) Council 31 Collective Bargaining unit. Annual salary is set at $33,830.16 (to be paid in hourly equivalent). Annual raises are set per contract.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Strong Organization skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be proficient in use of computers and in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to receive, review and maintain official records for the Kendall County Circuit Court system.
Work Schedule:
• Full-time position.
• Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (occasional additional hours as needed for the position)
• This position’s office location is on-site in Yorkville, Illinois.
