Intern - Talent Acquisition Full-time Summer 2026

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Intern will lead the execution of SECU’s Internship Program while supporting early career recruiting initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end intern experience, partnering with leaders to ensure program consistency, and identifying opportunities to enhance structure and outcomes. 

In addition, the intern will represent SECU at career fairs and assess current resume collection processes, proposing solutions to improve candidate tracking and engagement. The position offers hands-on exposure to program management, employer branding, and recruitment operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of SECU’s Internship Program.
  • Coordinate onboarding, engagement activities, and regular check-ins with interns and leaders.
  • Track intern progress, gather feedback, and support extension and conversion discussions.
  • Lead selection and recruitment efforts for the fall 2026 cohort.
  • Project: Evaluate current methods for collecting candidate information at career fairs and develop recommendations for a streamlined and scalable process.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Currently enrolled full-time at a US – NC based accredited university/college.
  • Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student.
  • GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Must be able to commit to 30-40 hours per week.
  • Must commit to an 8–10-week internship program.
  • Authorized to work in the Unites States without Sponsorship now or in the future or without receiving CPT/OPT through university/college.
