Data Analyst/Inventory Optimization Specialist

We are hiring a highly analytical recent graduate (or soon-to-be-graduate) to strengthen our inventory intelligence and data infrastructure. This role combines detailed data work with systems-building. You will reconcile, analyze, and structure operational data — then design tools that improve accuracy, reduce inventory dollars, and maintain high service levels.

This is a hands-on role. You must be comfortable in the details while thinking at a systems level.

Core Responsibilities

• Reconcile and validate inventory data across systems
• Perform variance analysis and root-cause investigations
• Build structured datasets using SQL and ODBC connections
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting tools
• Automate manual reporting workflows
• Support forecasting, reorder logic, and safety stock optimization

Performance Expectations (6–12 Months)

• Achieve and sustain inventory accuracy to monthly expected variance
• Reduce inventory dollars by 20% while maintaining ≥97–99% service level
• Improve inventory turns by 10–20%
• Reduce reporting cycle time by ≥50%
• Eliminate at least one major manual reporting process
• Build at least one new core data source used by leadership
