About Us
Brentwood Blind Company is a locally owned, fast-growing window treatment company serving the Nashville area. We specialize in premium custom blinds and shades, including Hunter Douglas products, and pride ourselves on delivering a luxury customer experience from consultation to installation.
We are looking for a driven, creative intern to build and execute a social media strategy from the ground up. This is not a “just make posts” internship. This is an opportunity to architect a real brand presence, see measurable results, and build a portfolio of work you can be proud of.
What You’ll Do
1. Strategy Development
Audit our current digital presence (if any)
Research competitors and identify positioning opportunities
Define target audiences (homeowners, designers, builders, Realtors)
Develop a clear content strategy and brand voice
Build a 3–6 month content roadmap
2. Content Creation
Capture and edit photo and video content (job sites, installations, before/after transformations, team highlights)
Develop short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok
Design static posts and carousels
Write engaging captions and calls-to-action
Coordinate testimonials and customer spotlight features
3. Campaign Execution
Launch and manage content calendar
Test promotional campaigns and giveaways
Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and influencers
Track engagement, growth, and lead generation
Optimize strategy based on performance metrics
4. Analytics & Reporting
Set measurable KPIs (followers, engagement rate, inquiries, conversions)
Deliver biweekly performance reports
Recommend adjustments based on data
Who You Are
Current student at Belmont University (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred)
Passionate about branding, content creation, and digital growth
Comfortable filming and editing video content
Strong writing skills
Self-starter who can take ownership of a project
Entrepreneurial mindset — you don’t wait for instructions, you bring ideas
Bonus:
Experience managing a brand account
Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook algorithms
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
Interest in entrepreneurship or small business growth
