Seasonal Customer Service Representative Hybrid

Green Shield is growing! We are a family-owned company that values teamwork, respect, and helping our community feel safe and protected. We are looking for a seasonal paid intern who is versatile, proactive, and ready to wear multiple hats to keep our operations running smoothly.

The Role: Beyond the Phones

This isn't just a call-center role; it is an Office Administration position. While answering calls and scheduling are core pillars of the job, the successful candidate understands that a small, growing business requires "all-hands-on-deck." You will be the heartbeat of the office—ensuring the facility is clean, inventory is stocked, and administrative tasks are completed with precision.

What We Offer

A Family First Environment: A welcoming workplace where your voice is heard.

Competitive Pay: Opportunities for growth as the company expands.

Full Training: We provide the tools and mentorship you need to succeed.

Schedule & Location

Type: Seasonal April/May through August/September Full-Time

In-Office Requirement: Minimum 1 day in-office per week; up to 3 days depending on need.

Saturday Rotation: Availability for Saturdays is required (shifts are handled on a

rotating basis among the team).

Location: Hybrid remote in Saco, ME (Must be able to commute to the office).

What You’ll Do (The Full Scope)

We operate with a "no task is too small" mentality. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Engagement: Answering incoming calls, assisting with scheduling, and

providing professional support that reflects our quality standards.

Dispatch Coordination: Communicating clearly with our technicians to ensure

seamless service delivery.

Office Stewardship: Full management of office facilities, including light cleaning,

organizing common areas, and inventory management (ordering supplies/restocking).

Administrative Versatility: Handling customer accounts, data entry, filing, and various office projects as they arise.

Team Support: Assisting management with diverse tasks that may fall outside of daily routines to help the company scale.

What We’re Looking For

A Can-Do Attitude: Someone who sees a task that needs doing—like a messy supply closet or an unfiled stack of papers—and takes care of it without being asked.

Reliability: You are the face of the company; we need people we can count on to show up for their shifts (including the Saturday rotation).

Tech Savvy: Comfort with phones, scheduling software, and basic computer tasks.

Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.

Education: High school or equivalent (Required).

If you’re a proactive person who enjoys a variety of tasks and wants to be a vital part of a supportive team, we’d love to have you join the Green Shield family!
