Part-Time STEAM Teacher (Coding/Robotics)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively manage a classroom of children aged 4 yrs to 12 yrs old
  • Engage students in fun and relevant coding, robotics, and STEAM lessons based on established curriculum and specific classroom needs
  • Observe and track students’ progress and attendance
  • Reinforce positive student behavior and session rules
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all students, families, and staff
  • Communicate with management to discuss member progress, needs, and concerns

Qualifications:

  • Must be located in the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill), NC
  • Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Currently pursuing or holding a college degree
  • Reliable transportation (most locations not near public transit)
  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Tech-savvy or willing to learn (we provide training)

Compensation & Schedule:

This is a contract-to-hire (part-time) position.

  • Pay: $25–$50/hour (based on role and experience)
  • Hours: 2–5 hours/week (weekday mornings, after-school, and some weekends)
  • Work Location: In-person at schools in the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill), NC. Must be able to travel to various school locations as assigned
