OromoWear Marketing & Community Programs Intern
Role Description
OPP's is recruiting for its first cohort in partnership with OromoWear by seeking two (2) Summer 2026 Marketing & Community Programs interns to support the 10 year anniversary of OromoWear. Interns will work for a total of 40 hours compromised of approximately 10 hours of training and personal/professional development and 30 hours of project work and site staffing during the annual OSFNA tournament and related events. Projects will focus on design and execution of brand marketing both digitally and in person as well as expanding the brands engagement with local communities and partners. Recommended majors to apply are Business, Supply Chain & Operations, Sales, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Communications. Individuals that are not enrolled in school or are in different major/career paths are still welcome to apply. Early career professionals with little to no experience are encouraged to apply!
Interns are expected to be available during the months of July and August to complete their training and start the project. Project utilizes a hybrid model. Specific work commitments and semi-flexible and will be discussed during interviews. Interns will receive a $500 stipend at the completion of their project timeline if satisfactory standards are met. Students may also apply for credit-based benefits with their institution if eligible.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 15th. Interviews will be held in late March-early April and selections will be made and notified by mid-late April.
