Software Consultant Paid Internship

John Consulting is looking for up to two software consultant interns to join our team this spring/summer. This is a paid internship is a hybrid position is for motivated, aspiring software consultants who are able to work some of the time in our Owings Mills, MD learning center.  

You will be mentored our Director of Consulting and her experienced team of consultants. For those selected, you will learn the basics on how to use the leading non-profit enterprise solution iMIS by completing online training to acquire the “Certified iMIS User” certification. Next, we will transition you into helping us with internal projects and ultimately interns who show aptitude will have the opportunity to consult directly with clients to implement software solutions using iMIS and related products.

Get real-world, hands-on experience helping us support the software needs of notable clients in the nonprofit sector including fraternal organizations, trade associations, professional societies and charities. All while get trained on the leading Association Management software product iMIS.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in technology and a desire to help non-profit organizations achieve great things with the best available enterprise software package. Candidates who possess good verbal and written communication is desired for this client-facing position.
