Camp Pontiac is a premier co-ed sleepaway camp in Copake, NY, home to 500 campers ages 7–16 and an incredible staff from all over the world. If you’re energetic, responsible, and love working with kids, this is more than a summer job — it’s an experience!
What You’ll Do
- Live in a cabin and mentor a group of campers
- Lead and participate in sports, arts, STEM, waterfront & more
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
- Support campers’ growth, independence, and confidence
Schedule & Time Off
You’ll be with your campers throughout the day — coaching, creating, swimming, cheering them on, and making memories right alongside them.
- 1 activity period off each day
- 3 evenings off per week
- 1 full day off weekly (Weeks 2–6)
On your time off, enjoy camp amenities or explore nearby spots like New York City, Albany, Boston, Hudson, Great Barrington, and Lake George.
We’re Looking For
- Positive, enthusiastic college students
- Strong leaders and team players
- Experience with kids is a plus
- Skills in childcare, sports, art, STEM, or water activities welcomed
