About the Role:

Business Development Representative (Training Program) - OTE $75k

This role is part of a six-month training program crafted to develop you into a Junior Account Executive (JAE). Working closely with our Director of Sales Enablement, you’ll build a foundation in small business lending, gain essential sales skills, and develop a deep understanding of our industry.

Compensation: You will have a base salary as well as take home a portion of revenue generated in the form of commission with proven On-Target Earnings of $75k. High achievers are eligible for early graduation to the Junior Account Executive role with an on-target annual earnings of $160k.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new leads by identifying and engaging potential clients to build interest in 4 Pillar Funding’s suite of financing products.
  • Conduct initial needs assessments to understand client requirements and align them with the relevant financial solutions.
  • Communicate product value effectively to generate interest, paving the way for the sales team to advance qualified leads.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and call quotas monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Participate in hands-on training to develop impactful client connection skills.

Note: As a BDR, you will focus solely on prospecting and qualifying leads; responsibility for closing sales lies with the senior sales team members.

Qualifications:

  • Professional, dynamic presence with excellent communication skills.
  • 0-2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle priorities.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to grow.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Zendesk experience is a plus).
  • Drive and determination to exceed expectations.
