Graphic Design Intern
Location: New Jersey (Remote) 
Duration: February 2026 - May 2026 , May 2026 - August 2026
Hours: 6-7 hours a week

Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young women aged 14-21 from underserved backgrounds in Northern New Jersey. Our mission is to provide comprehensive postsecondary and workforce readiness support through targeted education and skill training programs. We strive to equip our participants with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities necessary to succeed in higher education and the workforce.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This intern will work closely with our marketing and program teams to develop visually engaging content that effectively communicates our mission and programs. The ideal candidate is a college student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, with a passion for social impact and community service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of digital and print materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, newsletters, and event promotions.
- Design and update website graphics and content to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing online presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual content for campaigns and initiatives.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing and outreach efforts.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and other visual aids for workshops, events, and meetings.
- Support the development of visual content for reports and grant applications.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work (academic or personal projects).
