Social Media Intern
About this Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to support Aesthetic Record’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. In this role, you will assist with content creation, scheduling, and community engagement while learning how social media supports brand awareness and marketing strategy. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in digital marketing within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your Impact & Contribution
As a Social Media Intern, you will contribute to the daily execution of our social media efforts. You’ll support content production, help maintain posting schedules, and assist with audience engagement. Your work will directly support brand visibility while giving you exposure to professional marketing workflows and creative collaboration.

At this stage, you’ll build foundational skills in content creation, social media tools, and campaign coordination. You’ll learn how to manage workflows, interpret basic performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. With mentorship and feedback, you’ll develop confidence in creative execution and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating social media content including graphics, short videos, captions, and blog posts
- Support scheduling and publishing posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Monitor comments and messages and escalate when appropriate
- Help maintain and update the content calendar
- Conduct light research on social trends and competitor activity
- Support campaign preparation and promotional initiatives
- Assist with collecting and organizing performance data
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Basic experience with creative tools such as Canva or mobile editing apps
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback
Preferred Experience
- Coursework or personal projects related to social media or marketing
- Basic photography or video editing familiarity
- Exposure to creative or AI-based tools
